Curtains and Soft Furnishings

If you have an interest in curtains and soft furnishings but are not sure where to start, this is the course for you. Beginning with the basics, you will learn about aspects of making curtains and soft furnishings to help develop your knowledge and skills in making and finishing your own personal projects. Creativity is actively encouraged as is the sharing of information and ideas, so those wishing to improve their skills are also welcome. This is a great course for you to get out and meet like-minded people with whom you can share your ideas.

Entry requirements

You will need to bring all the equipment and materials needed for your projects, including your own sewing machine, scissors, pins, needles, materials, patterns and any notions (buttons, zips, thread etc.).  Your tutor will advise you about how and where to source materials if required.A steam iron will be available. Your tutor will be able to advise you on the precise requirements that you might need for your own particular projects.You may wish to bring with you some small change for tea/coffee refreshments.
