Level 2 Award In ESOL Skills for Life (writing)

This course is a 10 week course offering 2 lessons of 2 hours 45 minutes per week of English Writing tuition for Speakers of Other Languages. It is suitable for students who have passed the Level 1 ESOL qualifications or who are assessed at Upper Intermediate level: C1 on CEFR (Common European Framework). It is a useful foundation for those considering academic study in the UK or for students needing to improve their formal writing skills for work. All students will do a diagnostic test and complete a needs analysis to enable the teacher to address their particular needs at the beginning of the course.

Entry requirements

You are expected to attend lessons regularly to ensure success on this course.  Exam fees are included in the course fee. If you fail your exam you will be able to retake the exam free of charge. An additional weekly workshop of 2 hours and 45 minutes will be available for an extra charge for those students needing more support for individual needs.There will be no classes on Bank holidays or on staff development days.
