This course is aimed at learners working in a school supporting Teaching and Learning in the classroom either in paid employment or as an experienced volunteer.This course has been designed to: Develop the knowledge and understanding that all people working in a school will needEnable learners to develop and practice the skills required for progression in the sectorEncourage learners to reach a level of skills and knowledge that will facilitate progression on to further vocational training or to potential employment in the sectorThe course is made up of the same units as the Level 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools with some additional competence-based units. Candidates that have already completed the Level 3 certificate are able to gain this award without duplicating training.
