Create texture and pattern on fabric using a variety of Japanese and other techniques with indigo and fibre reactive dyes. Shibori techniques include arashi (pole wrapping) itajime (folding and clamping)and tesuji (pleating and tyeing) and tritik (stitching). Beginners and experienced students will be able to produce exciting results. Students will be advised by email in advance of the course, on suitable fabrics to bring to class.
