Tapestry Projects

This is an opportunity to learn traditional French tapestry weaving and progress further with non-traditional materials and techniques. Beginners start by weaving a sampler on a small frame before making a tapestry of their own design. Experienced weavers work on individual projects.

Entry requirements

It is useful to have a sketchbook or notebook, and an A4 file for information sheets. The course fee includes most materials (warp and weft) but you may want to buy your own bobbins and bring yarns of your choice. Further requirements will be discussed in class.
