Want to take better pictures? Still stuck in the 'Auto' mode on your camera? This course is for beginners who own a Digital SLR and want to learn more of its functions. Learn how to operate your camera in manual mode, make correct exposures in a range of situations and understand aperture, shutter speed and ISO. This intensive course will introduce you to exciting projects and you will soon see your pictures and skills improving. This course will give you creative control over your camera thereby encouraging you to take photographs with intention, rather than letting the camera do all the work. A thorough grounding in exposure and working in various light conditions will increase confidence. The course will be taught via practical and exciting projects which reinforce learning. The project work will be given in class and for you to do at home and will be shared with the class to encourage constructive feedback. This creative course will help you understand your camera and you will soon see your pictures and skills improving. If you are not entitled to a reduced fee but are finding it difficult to pay for your course in one go, we can offer a Staged Payment Agreement to split the costs into three payments if your course(s) costs £200 or more. Please talk to a member of enrolment staff about how your payments would be structured. You are liable for all payments under this agreement, even if you stop attending your class.
