The timeless and enduring beauty of the corset is at once ancient and futuristic. In the last 35 years, there has been a revival of interest in traditional corsets, inspired by many Couture Designers. Many modern evening and bridal wear dresses have hidden corseted foundation and structure to support and give fabulous shape to these wonderfully complex dresses. This course will feature the importance of these foundation pieces which are an essential part of a well structured garment or as an outer garment, you will draft the 3 basic corset foundation, using a basic standard size block.To benefit from this course, you must have intermediate level skills in pattern making. This course is NOT suitable for beginners.
