Vintage Style Bridal and Evening Wear

UPDATED 20160720 09:45:01

The 1920s to the 1950s can be seen as the highpoint of couture. Masters such as Gabrielle Chanel, Elsa Schiaparelli, Madeleine Vionnet, and Christian Dior laid foundations that still influence designers today. Nowhere is this more evident than in bridal and eveningwear. Take advantage of the opportunity to make your own individual garment alongside weekly demonstrations on popular vintage construction methods. Demonstrations will cover a range of techniques; including working with bias, working with specialty fabrics, and shaping garments with boning, pads and underskirts.
