Mixed level students are able to join this short course on the understanding that the tutors time will be concentrated with beginner level students. This course will allow you to get a feel of what it is like to work with clay and glaze and begin to understand it's potential to make a form. You will look at different types of clay and learn how to shape and mould it using a limited range of techniques. You will have time to experiment with the some options for decorating the clay surface through using clay coloured slip and completing the form with a basic introduction to glazing. There will be a charge for clay work @£2 per kilo to be glazed and fired
