Writing for Radio with Mike Walker

UPDATED 20160720 09:44:49

In the first term students will create a treatment and write a 15 minute play. They will have a practicing radio writer as a mentor who will read and provide a report on their play and will attend a class session and talk about the student's work. In term 2 the Tutor will select the plays he considers best suited to being worked on by a BBC director and actors in the classroom. This will enable students to see how directors and actors will respond to and develop their plays and will be of benefit to all the class. It should be noted that not all plays will be able to receive this treatment due to constraints of time.
