City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Professional Aromatherapy

This course is for students with no experience of complementary therapies who wish to become professional aromatherapy practitioners. Successful completion through continuous assessment and examination leads to an internationally recognised qualification, mapped to National Occupational Standards and the UK Core Curriculum. Upon graduation you will be invited to join the Complementary Health Professionals (CHP) as a full member. You will also be able to register as an Aromatherapist with UK regulatory bodies. Entry requirements

Uniform: white tunic and dark trousers. Long hair to be tied back, short nails (no nail varnish) and no jewellery., Equipment:1-bath sheet, 1-bath towel, 1-couch cover with facehole (all in pastel or white) A selection of carrier and essential oils will need to be purchased over the duration of the course. Measuring pots and 10ml bottles. A massage table will be needed for case studies/home practice but is not needed in college. (estimated budget (£200-£500), , You will need to bring pens and paper and a folder in which to keep your handouts.
