Flamenco: Bata de cola

UPDATED 20160720 09:44:04

Learn the art of dancing with the flamenco tail skirt. These workshops are aimed at intermediate and advanced level flamenco dancers (male or female). You will learn how to move and manipulate your tail skirt and then how to introduce it into flamenco choreographies. It is preferred, but not essential, that you have your own tail skirt (the tutor will have some tail skirts for students to borrow and can advise on buying your own flamenco tail skirt or dress). All students will have access to the Morley Moodle Flamenco & Spanish Dance Site with information about the rhythms and dances studied and video links for practice purposes. Students are advised that for all intermediate and advanced level courses they must seek departmental advice prior to enrolment. For more information - please contact: dance@morleycollege.ac.uk.
