Directing Theatre

Learn the fundamentals of directing theatre, from how to communicate with actors, to understanding the 'rules' of stagecraft. During the course you will have hands-on experience of directing and acting, to gain insight into both perspectives.

Entry requirements

Pen & paper., A play to work on in the textual sessions (this will be chosen after discussion with the tutor but students are welcome to bring in some ideas of plays they would like to work on.
