Mathematics is the abstract science of number, quantity and space. Mathematical knowledge provides an important key to understanding the world in which we live.The study of GCSE Mathematics will offer important transferable skills which can be applied to many real world situations. You will study a range of mathematical methods and concepts, including algebra, geometry, statistics, and trigonometry. The academic rigor and logical thinking that will be developed through the study of these areas will be beneficial to a variety of careers and further study.To succeed, you will need analytical skills, the ability to think clearly and precisely, and a keen interest in numerical problem solving. The course is fast moving and very demanding.
