This Level 3 programme is designed for those who have a passion for sport in particular the scientific principles of the subject. On this course you will look at a range of different disciplines within the field of sport. Units you will study will include - Nutrition for Sports Performance - Psychology for Sport & Exercise - Anatomy & Physiology - Research Methods - Research Project for Sport and Exercise - Practical Sport Fitness Testing & Training. You will start off on a one year programme studying 90 credits (equivalent to 1.5 A-Levels). Upon successful completion of year one you will then have the opportunity to progress onto the second year completing a further 90 credits to achieve a full Extended Diploma (3 A-level equivalent). This qualification will form part of a study programme which will include exclusive access to our Sports Academy and Enrichment programme Maths & English Tutorial support Work Experience and development of employability and study skills.
