You will learn in dedicated classrooms and laboratories to develop a deep understanding of biological principles such as disease and how it affects the body systems. You will study the basic physiological systems and examine how they are affected by disease processes as well as learning about the variety of living organisms. You will undertake a vast amount of practical experiments in our fully equipped laboratories as well as e-learning field work and liaising with other institutions.

A minimum of a D grade is needed at AS Level to progress onto year 2 of the course. The A-Level is 100% exam based with 3 papers. Your final grade will solely be calculated from the results in your final papers.
