The AAT accounting qualification gives students the opportunity to gain the theoretical knowledge and practical accounting skills needed to carry out aspects of an accountancy related role. The course is delivered in different ways and can be started at two points in a given academic year (September and February). This course is for you if you have an interest in Finance and Accountancy and would like to gain higher qualifications and eventually pursue a career in this field. You should have a reasonable grasp of basic Mathematics and written English. Modules include - Mathematics for Accounting - Essential Accounting Procedures - Creating Business Documents - Accounting in a Professional Environment - Progression options (further studies/employment) Following successful completion of this qualification your progression will normally be to the AAT Foundation Certificate in Accounting.
