Course covers legal requirements and responsibilities covering animal and poultry health and welfare during transport. Covers how to effectively plan and implement the transport of animals and poultry, vehicle requirements, how to check animals for fitness to travel, identify causes and signs of stress, handling and welfare in transit and space, stocking densities and segregation requirements, journey and post journey requirements. NPTC Computer Based assessment is done at the end of the day, following training. Start Date and Time Start time 9am , test time approx 1pm Finish 2-2.30pm. Poultry and Game Birds 26th January 2015 Cattle/ Pigs/ Goats/ Sheep 14th January 2015 - This will be a generic animal transportation course -that will enable attendee to pass NPTC test. Cost Price of course is for training and one category of animal for NPTC assessment .
