This City & Guilds course covers all aspects of hairdressing. It will help you to build on the existing knowledge and experience of your Level 2 qualification.You will study monitoring and maintaining health and safety practice in the salon, consultation support for colleagues on hair services, cutting women's hair in various styles, styling and dressing hair using a variety of techniques, colouring hair, Creative Hairdressing Design skills, perming hair to create a variety of looks, styling African type hair using a variety of techniques, relaxing African type hair and hair colour correction. You will also have the opportunity to learn new skills by helping in the day-to-day running of the salons and reception area. This commitment needs to be on going even after your competence is proved.You must be able to purchase your own specialist kit and uniform.
