Through this programme you will gain a greater understanding of the Health & Care working environment, develop skills and have an opportunity to apply learning in a practical and realistic way through work placement. We have a designated placement officer who will find you a work placement. We also carry out and pay for a CRB check. The BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care is designed for students aged 16 - 18. This is a 18 unit practical work-related course. Learning occurs through the completion of projects and assignments that are based on realistic workplace situations, activities and demands. This course provides much of the underpinning knowledge for National Occupational Standards, is equivalent to 3 A Levels and enables progression to higher educational vocational qualifications or into work.
