Delivered from September to June over 35 weeks In order to achieve a high level of competence in providing a range of Hair & Beauty services, the programme of study will require the successful completion of the following 14 units for the full Level 1 Diploma in Hair & Beauty Therapy: Skin care, Hair styling, Face painting, Apply make-up, Manicure treatments, Temporary colouring, Plaiting and Twisting hair, Personal presentation, Create nail art and designs, Shampoo and Conditioning, introduction to hair and beauty industry, Health and safety practice in the salon, Working in the beauty related industries, Create an image based on a theme within the hair and beauty sector. Entry requirements are four GCSEs grade D-F including Maths ans English or an Entry qualification on Hair and Beauty Therapy. You will need to attend an informal interview is required for each candidate before acceptance to ensure you benefit from and successfully complete the chosen programme of study.
