You will learn about the development of Modern Theatre Jazz dance and the influence of specific choreographers, with a chance to study in each style. You will gain an insight into different genres of dance including jazz, tap, classical and musical theatre and learn a simple combination of each. Focusing on influential figures like Fred Astaire, Gene Kelly, Jerome Robbins and Gillian Lynne you will get an overview of how Musical theatre has eveloved in the 21st century and be able to dance the steps of the West End stage.
