Whilst studying towards this qualification the following units will be covered: Students take seven core units including: * Understanding the Media * Research Techniques * Media Skills Workshop * Professional Practice in the Media Industry. Students also take fourteen specialist units from the following subject areas: * Production Management and techniques * Filming and camera work * Video Editing * Animation * Writing for Television and Video * Film and Television Studies. A final major project is undertaken in the second year of the course, where students are invited to exhibit work at their end of year show and meet industry professionals. All units are assessed and graded and an overall grade for the qualification is awarded.
