The CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development) is the industry recognised body for HR qualifications and is widely recognised by employers. The Foundation Diploma in Human Resource Practice (DHRP) Level 3 is the first building block for a career in HR. If you are working in a generalist office role and want to gain a specialist HR qualification, are thinking of changing career or starting out and wish to develop your skills and knowledge for entry into the HR profession then the Level 3 course is a great way to gain entry into the profession. Alongside this, you will have the opportunity to meet and develop networks with other students, have access to the CIPD branch events and gain skills such as team-working and time-management. The DHRP is a 37 credit course made up of 3 compulsory units: - Developing Yourself as an Effective Human Resources or Learning and Development Practitioner - Understanding Organisations and the Role of Human Resources - Recording, Analysing and Using Human Resources Information and 5-6 additional units taken from a range of relevant themes, including: - Resourcing Talent - HR Data Management and Analysis - Supporting Change in Organisations - Learning and Development Please note that the additional units are indicative only and are subject to change. Students will be expected to take out CIPD membership when they join the course, at an additional cost of 45.00 GBP for 6 months or 135.00 GBP for 18 months (subject to change).
