Understanding Mental Health in Young People: Essential Skills for Teaching Assistants

This course will be of benefit to anyone working within a school who has experience of working with children and young people and who would like to extend their knowledge of mental health. This course is only suitable for those who are supporting children in school. You will become aware of the psychological and emotional needs of children and young people who might be experiencing mental and emotional distress. This training focuses on promoting emotional wellbeing, and the factors that help to safeguard them from harm.
