This non-accredited course looks at the key skills in English that are required to be able to provide effective support to children at KS2. It is suitable for Teaching Assistants already working with children in Junior settings and for those who are working in Infant settings but would like to work with older children. We particularly welcome candidates who feel that their own lack of confidence in English impacts on the support they can provide to children in KS2.
