This full-time qualification is designed to engage you with the development of your personal identity through an opportunity to explore a wide range of ideas, techniques, languages and media within fine art. This course will focus on building both specialist and multi-disciplinary skills, as well introducing you to a range of contemporary art, artists and theory. What will I Study: You will be encouraged to develop a highly-individual, ideas-based portfolio, pursuing your personal specialist interests from theory to materials and techniques by:. . Working imaginatively in fine art. Engaging with contemporary fine art theory. Generating and develop creative ideas in response to a wide range of briefs. Articulating and communicate your creative intentions clearly. Showing willingness to collaborate and discuss your work in group situations. Reflecting critically on your activities and learning, and demonstrate. Displaying intellectual enquiry. Embracing new ways of thinking and engage with a range of techniques and materials What can I do after the course: You can progress onto a HND in Art at University or, the second or third year of an honours degree (after the HND). Alternatively, you could go straight into employment or self-employment.
