This one day course will focus on developing a bold painting through using the interesting combination of watercolour and pastel. In the morning you will paint a still life group followed in the afternoon by a landscape subject. You will learn to distinguish the use of tone, colour, and composition through practice, discussion and demonstration. Learners will gain experience using materials and reviewing their work through group discussion and one to one support. The overall aim is to develop confidence in using the techniques and methods of working with this fascinating medium.
