Would you like to take a GCSE qualification in English, but feel you need to improve your written English and your understanding of how the language is used first? Then this course is for you.The aim of this course is to help you improve your basic knowledge and skills in specific areas of English to work towards completing a GCSE English qualification in the future.Our Pre-GCSE course is over 3 terms. Each term you will focus on a particular area of English to help build your confidence and fill a specific gap in your knowledge. In the autumn term you will work on planning and structuring spoken and written texts to match the audience and purpose of the texts.You will be assessed by an exam at the end of the 20 hour course and receive a certificate if the unit is completed successfully.
