This one and a half day workshop will focus on throwing techniques on the full Saturday and we will return the following Saturday for a half day to turn and finish the thrown pieces.On the full day of throwing, learners will be taught how to wedge the clay, centre the clay on the wheel and make a basic cylinder. They will also be given a demonstration on how to alter the basic cylinder shape. Learners will keep a maximum of 4-5 thrown pieces, which they will learn to turn during the following Saturday's half day turning workshop.
