French - Stage 4+ - Term 2

The aim of the course is to improve your language skills for effective communication on a wide range of everyday topics. Different topics are covered each term. Typical topics covered at Stage 4 may include: • making everyday conversation; • expressing opinions on selected topics; • recounting events in the past;• describing people, places and things; • discussing plans for the future. Sessions are lively and varied with goals tailored to individual needs. The emphasis is on speaking and listening, with pair and group activities to maximise opportunities to speak in the language. Reading, writing and essential grammar are also incorporated into the course.
