The aim of the course is to build your confidence in your mathematical abilities and prepare you for the new GCSE Mathematics (Foundation level) examination. The course will cover all the material required for the GCSE Maths exam at Foundation level. Topics will include basic algebra, fractions, decimals, percentages, shapes and data analysis. You will also learn techniques to function mathematically in the world. Teaching will be in a relaxed, adult only environment with plenty of opportunity for questions. Learning will include discussion, activities and practice of questions.The course is intensive and requires a real commitment to attend each week, participate and study at home, with the completion of all homework tasks. It is recommended that at least a further two hours per week are dedicated to this self study to ensure a pass in the final exams.
