Cookery - Cooking for Friends & Family

This is a general cookery course, where the aim is learn the skills to enjoy cooking and get great results each week to take home and impress your family and friends.You will focus on preparing a wide range of recipes suitable for all occasions, whether for informal eating or entertaining. Recipes will include savoury meat and fish dishes as well as desserts and baking.The course is largely student-led, with the dishes taught being chosen with the learners' wishes and tastes in mind, with the goals moving towards areas that are decided upon together.

Recipes/ingredients list will be sent 1 week prior to the start of the first class.Please bring an apron, tea-towels and all ingredients as listed in the recipes sent to you, also some suitable containers to take food home in.It is important to wear clothes and footwear suitable for a busy, hot kitchen.
