This one day course will establish some key acrylic painting methods through the use of web images, photographs and sketches.We will explore colour and brush stroke in the Style of Van Gogh There will be a short talk and demonstration of techniques Learners will gain confidence in using materials, mixing colours using expressive brush workThere will be a review of work through group discussion and one to one support.The overall aim is not necessarily to complete a painting, but to have fun, achieve personal expression and learn more about the artist This could act as an extension to other painting courses attended or as a one off workshop

Entry requirements

Bring whatever acrylic materials you may already have purchased. These should include a basic set of acrylic paints. Acrylic board or canvas at least A3 or above. A range of flat and round acrylic brushes, a palette, ruler, soft pencil, rubber, paper/towel roll.
