The Children's Care, Learning and Development programme is aimed at those working in a private nursery, after school club or in a school. It can also be delivered to Childminders. To achieve Level 3 the candidate must be in some sort of supervisory role and/or have a number of key children to be responsible for. At Level 3 the candidate must also be involved in weekly planning of activities and regular observation of the children. At level 3 the candidate will be working more independently within the setting than those working towards level 2.
