A Day of Needle Felting

Needle felting is becoming an increasingly popular fiber craft using raw wool fleece to sculpt various different shapes and blends of colours. It incorporates the use of a barbed needle to bind the fibers together. Come along and learn the basics of needle felt and create your very own creature , from mice to hares and other woodland creations. Learn the basic tools and terms in a fun and friendly workshop to inspire your creativity begin a new hobby. No previous experience is necessary and you will have the opportunity to purchase your own kit to make other needle felt at home for a small five pounds charge. You will also have a completed creature to take home with you on the day, , By the end of the course, students will:, , - have a good understanding or the needlefelting process, - know the best way to use the tools, - understand how to create shapes Everyone from beginners to those with some experience in these processes.
