Sewing - Make a Skirt

An introduction to working with your sewing machine.This course is designed to help you get to know your machine through making a simple skirt, inserting a zip and other finishing techniques. Please be aware there is a lot to work though and you will be working at your own pace. It maybe that you need to finish it off at home. For those who wish to gain understanding of their sewing machine. It is important to note that craft courses are practical, requiring a degree of manual dexterity.

Your own sewing machine. A selection of sewing threads for your machine. Please can you bring two 7 or 8inch zips(not concealed), 50cm firm fabric like curtain lining or calico, and 1metre of firm fabric for the bag., Equipment required Your own sewing machine.
