This practical course will introduce you to the art of arranging flowers - taking inspiration from crisp and frosty winter mornings. You will need to bring your own floristry scissors or secateurs, flowers, greenery and mechanics (that's flower foam, containers and so on - some of these will be available to buy from the tutor, by prior arrangement). This course is offered in partnership with Julie Davies Flower Workshops., , Learn how to:, , • design and create a round table arrangement - incorporating a woolly collar , • design and create a column-style arrangement - incorporating winter twigs, • design and create a circular table arrangement, , Students should budget £10-15 per session for flowers. Buying flowers from the supermarket and supplementing these with greenery from your garden is a cost effective way of providing the necessary course materials., , Mechanics will be available to purchase week by week from the tutor - floral foam, dishes, and so on., , Anyone with an interest in flower arranging.
