Learn wire fixing and other beadwork techniques to create your own beautiful necklaces, earrings, bracelets, rings etc., , By the end of the course you should be able to:, - use jewellery making tools confidently and safely, - make loops from wire and headpins, - use clasps, crimps, jump rings and other findings, - use various materials for stringing, - make a variety of different jewellery items, , There is no set 'homework', but you are welcome to practise and do further work at home., There is no qualification for this course., , , This course is for those who would like to learn how to make memory wire bangles and bracelets.

Please do not buy anything especially for the course before the first session, but bring along anything you already have that you think would be useful to the first session. You will need a set of three jewellery pliers: round nosed, flat and cutter and a bead mat (something that stops the beads rolling away from your work area). These can be purchased from the tutor (about £12) at the first session. You will need to supply your own beads, etc., each week; the tutor will advise you after the first session about what you will need, and she will also have beads and findings available to purchase at a small cost each week.
