This Conversation course aims to give you the opportunity to consolidate your knowledge of the language and culture through enjoyable and interesting interaction. A range of different topics will be introduced from everyday life and daily news using articles from TV, radio, Internet and newspapers covering topics such as: education, environment, transport, science, sport, art, etc. , , Suggestions and ideas will be discussed at the beginning of the course. .You will develop language accuracy and fluency in a range of everyday situations at a more complex level and increase your confidence in applying the present, past and future tenses. , , By the end of the course you should be able to: - communicate on a wide range of topics and be able to extract detailed information from various sources (newspaper and magazine articles, telephone messages/conversations audio/visual resources) - deal with topics of a familiar/unfamiliar nature with the help of a dictionary. You will revise and expand previously studied grammar including present and past tenses (perfect/imperfect/pluperfect), future tense, conditional/subjunctive mood in set phrases, relative clauses and pronouns. , , You will gain an insight into the culture of the country where the language is spoken. For those who have studied the language for approximately 200 hours, or have completed either a Beginners Plus or Intermediate course or a GCSE.
