UPDATED 20160712 11:10:12

This course starts by introducing studentsto basic design theory, colour, texture, pattern , balance etc and each student works from an individual source to produce original ideas. Students learn how to draw a scale plan with colour elevations, produce a mood board and a swatch board with the emphasis on creativity. We look at colour combinations, lighting, textiles, paints etc and historical influences. The final outcome for each student is a well designed room, complete with plans, elevation and swatches., , There may be a small amount of homework or research to do in between lessons ( 1-2 hrs) but would be optional , This course is suited to those who are wanting inspiration on their own projects in the home or who are looking at the first steps in starting up a business in Interior Design. This could be complete beginners or those with little experience.
