Life Drawing

This course provides and opportunity for students to learn, explore and extend their life drawing skills. Both male and female unclothed models will be used as subject matter., , By the end of this course you should be able to:, - draw more accurately from observation, - draw more expressively from observation, - make drawings of the figure in line and tone, - use a variety of drawing materials, - look at, and take inspiration from, the work and practice of a variety of artists., , There is no 'homework' for this course, but you might like to research artists and ideas referred to on the course in your own time., There is no qualification for this course., , There is limited parking on site, but there is a public car park nearby and on-street parking. For beginners and those with some experience of drawing/life drawing.

Entry requirements

If you are a new student and have no materials please wait for your tutor's advice on what to buy. However, all students should bring an A4 sketchbook of good quality cartridge paper and a variety of pencils, charcoal, a putty rubber and either masking tape or board clips. You will need to provide your own materials and these will vary in cost according to the course requirements. If you have any materials/equipment that might be appropriate please bring them with you.
