Make an Appliqué Christmas Apron

On this one day course, you will make a beautiful, decorative fabric Christmas apron that will be used for many years and might become a family heirloom! Learn how to use the craft of appliqué to embellish the design., , By the end of the day, students will;, go home with the apron they have made, have learnt and applied basic appliqué skills, have worked to relevant Health and Safety guidelines, , , , There is limited parking on site, but there is a public car park nearby and on-street parking. This course is for those who have some experience of using a sewing machine and would like to learn the basic skills to make an advent calendar using appliqué.

Entry requirements

All materials will be provided. However, if you already have some little pieces of fabrics of your own that you would like to use - maybe of sentimental significance or just very pretty or gorgeous! - please bring them in. There are sewing machines for you to use at the Centre, but if you already have your own machine that you can bring in, that would be best as you are used to using that machine. Similarly, if you wish to bring in your sewing kit and scissors, please do so, but otherwise these things will be provided for your use. Equipment required All materials will be provided.
