French Intermediate Plus - Summer School

Want to speak French more fluently and build on your conversational skills as well as be able to gain a deeper cultural understanding? Then this French Intermediate Plus course is for you. This French course in Canterbury follows on from our French Intermediate course and is for anyone who wants to speak more confidently in less predictable situations. Topics and grammar covered at French Intermediate Plus level will be reinforced., , Successful students should be able to:, • Communicate on a wider range of topics and be able to extract details accurately from various sources, • Obtain information from more complex texts and deal with topics of a familiar/unfamiliar nature with the help of a dictionary, • Produce text of varying length and for varying purposes using a combination of simple and more complex sentences, • Use the conditional tense, • Use the subjunctive mood, • Use the passive voice, • Start to use colloquial expressions and appropriate style of language, , , There is limited parking on site, but there is a public car park nearby and on-street parking. Students who have the knowledge of the tenses and basic structure of the language and need fluency and conversation practice.
