Ballet aims to improve core strength, posture, balance, flexibility and co-ordination. Each session will begin with a warm up and will include work on the barre with a series of ballet stretch exercices and postures that will help to develop strength and flexibility. This course is for Beginners or those with a little experience.

You are advised to wear soft ballet shoes (not shoe type pumps) but socks are acceptable for the first few lessons - your tutor will be able to advise you on the best shoes to get. You can work in bare feet too. Please wear comfortable clothing and you can move easily in and that is not too baggy. Hair will need to be tied back. A yoga mat or towel is recommended. A bottle of water.
