In this new dance course in Tunbridge Wells, students will be introduced to 3 dances from around the world, each one unique in style, movement and music. We will learn the Turkish Romany dance, the Chinese Fan dance and the Egyptian Saaidi cane dance during this 3-week course. We will look at core steps in each dance, the music, learn some moves and put together some movements to create a short routine in each style., , By the end of the course students will:, , • Be able to demonstrate good dance posture , • Have been shown core moves by demonstration from each dance style and had a go at dancing them to music , • Will be able to identify core steps in each dance style and name the moves., , Anyone interested in trying out a new type of dance. All abilities welcome.
