This beginners weaving class is for those who are complete beginners or those who are not yet confident in the basics. , These basics are: follow a simple weaving plan, wind a warp, set up a loom including threading, sleying and tying on, weave a piece of fabric., In this class you will be taught all of the above and have a set weaving project to learn the basics. At the end of this course you should be able to recognise basic weaves, wind a warp, dress a loom and weave with minimal assistance. This course is taught in a well equipped room with both floor standing and table looms. , , Beginners and those with more experience. This is a course for students interested in yarns, colour and design., It is important to note that craft courses are practical and require a degree of manual dexterity. If you need to bring a carer with you, or another adult please speak to the Programme Manager.
