Flower Arranging - Beginners

Each week you will produce a flower arrangement in a different style which would make a lovely gift for a special occasion. In the first session you will learn to make a beautiful hand tied bouquet., By the end of the course you should be able to:, - create a variety of differing styles of floral arrangements using fresh flowers and foliage, - confidently apply floristry techniques to an appropriate level, - understand the care and conditioning needs of a variety of plant material, - show a knowledge and understanding about seasonal plant material, - demonstrate an awareness of basic design and colour theory , , Homework is not a requirement of the course, but you will need to source flowers for your class each week. This course is suitable for anyone interested in flower arranging in a variety of styles, both traditional and modern.

Please bring with you on your first lesson., A supermarket bunch of flowers or any tall garden flowers you have or a nice mix of both., Twin, about 1 meter., Large handful of long foliage., Vase or vessel to take the bouquet home with you., , You will be advised each week on the flowers you need to bring.
