WE will be working on different areas within a church, culminating in large designs but starting with something more manageable: a pew end. , By the end of the course you should be able to:, - create a variety of differing styles of floral arrangements using fresh flowers and foliage, - confidently apply floristry techniques to an appropriate level, - understand the care and conditioning needs of a variety of plant material, - show a knowledge and understanding about seasonal plant material, - demonstrate an awareness of basic design and colour theory , , Homework is not a requirement of the course, but you will need to source flowers for your class each week. This course is suitable for anyone interested in flower arranging in a variety of styles, both traditional and modern.
