This course is designed to teach students the basic techniques to drawing and painting and develop confidence and skills through a range of weekly tutored workshops. , , Students will explore a range of exciting materials, colour creation, light and shade, as well as artistic styles, applying techniques and tips to landscape, still life and personal projects. , , This course will be informative, challenging and fun., , By the end of the course students should be able to -, -Demonstrate an ability to mix a wide range of colours from the three primary colours., -Create an accurate drawing of still life studies using negative space and angles, -Blend watercolour or acrylic pigments to match resource images., -Demonstrate an ability to use a variety of techniques to create a visual impression of an image., , , , , Those who are new to Art or are returning to the subject., , It is important to note that Art courses are practical and require a degree of manual dexterity.
